You know that friend who likes to really, really drag out their birthday? Not even they can compete with Amsterdam next year. The city will be celebrating its 750th birthday on October 27 and it’s organised a whole year of events to mark the occasion in the run-up. On June 21, there’ll be an enormous party on the A10 ringroad, where alongside food and music you’ll get to see a bunch of locals getting married.
